Safari Transfers: Getting to Kruger National Park

Visiting the Kruger is a dream for many. The journey from Johannesburg (OR Tambo) takes about 5-6 hours. A private shuttle allows you to relax and enjoy the scenery of the Panorama Route instead of navigating the N4 yourself.

Routes and Major Gates

Shuttles typically drop off at Skukuza, Phalaborwa, or Hoedspruit. If you are staying at a private game lodge, most will arrange a shuttle to meet you at their nearest gate.

Safety on the N4

The N4 is a major highway but can be busy with trucks. Professional shuttle drivers are experienced with this route and know the best rest stops for a break.
